you have to follow...

It's good for many things. for being with friends, for enjoying the sun, the sand, the surf... it's also good for thinking, for being alone with just your thoughts...
until some random drunk dude shows up and (unprovoked) divulges their entire life story, and as you listen, you think to yourself, wait a minute this is my life story...
and you start to think...
is this a sign? am i supposed to walk away? seriously... lay off the beer. if your gonna drink, drink Vodka... are you kidding me? could you put any more random shit together and make it, just so happen to perfectly align with what is going on in my head right now...
It's a sign isn't it..?

as i walk through the streets of life
i find myself looking over my shoulder
waiting for passed people to show up.
hoping for some, dreading others.
as i walk ahead
everyone i've ever met, whether
they've stopped and lingered,
passed through for a day,
or just left me behind,
they all become one,
part of a giant obscurity,
all there faces look the same,
a jumble of memories,
vaguely familiar.

and shadows
i went a little macro crazy this weekend.

into my bathroom sink and surroundings.

in black and white
for me, it was all about the shadows and the fern's texture... i like ferns, and this forest was full of them.
